Fi Q or BL on 2k?

I'm looking for playback in the 30-40hz range. So i'm thinking tuning at about 33-34hz

I'll have it on an AQ 2200. I've asked peoples opinions before about what kind of sound they will make, but will they both handle 2k? Or will that kind of power be more suitable for the BL?

I'll be running one of them in ~2.0 ft^2.

do you care much about sq, just get the BL at 2k sq dont matter much anyway

Well, what do you mean by "SQ"? Are we talking about low frequency extension? Or just the overall "Quality" of the sound?

BL wont last long on 2k. Tinsel quality is horrid on them

What would you recommend for ~2k of power? I was looking at the American Bass XFL 12" a while ago, but I decided I might go with Fi. I heard the XFL will take 2k daily.

You can look into an XCON. Also a Bl would be fine on 2k if you know what you are doing.

It will take 2K no problem.

I am going to be running a 15" fully loaded one off a DC 2.0.

Thank you guys. Could someone give some input on what type of sound I should be expecting? I've been trying to do a ballpark model in WinISD with not much luck. I'm looking for the bass to be deep (deep being ~30hz) and still be loud at up to 40hz. Will a tuning of 34hz accomplish this?
