Fi Q 15" or AQ HDC3 15" ?

Which one would get louder with 1200W and still remain decent SQ? Also what is a good box size for the HDC3 cause it doesn't say on the website and I'm tight on space, so if it's too big then obviously I'll just go with the Q.. Thanks.

I own both subs. Run a Q in the GF's car off 1k of power and 2 HDC's in my car off 6k. So not really a fair comparison. I did run a single HDC a while back though.

Both subs can sound very good and get loud. Her Q is quite impressive on the lows also.

x2 on 4cubes @ 38Hz for the HDC. Q will do fine in 3.5 - 4cubes @ 32Hz.

What is your main goal? What type of music do you listen to? How often will you play it very loud? HDC will take 1.2k all day long and will get louder if you ever step up your power.

For the price I don't think the HDC can be beat, but if you find a deal on a used Q then it's a very solid sub also. I got hers for $200, so hard to pass up.

I listen to mostly rap but some rock also. I can get a Q for 200 shipped or a HDC for 240 shipped.. And I don't really know often it will be playing it very loud.

If you listen to mostly rap then you'll be fine with the HDC. As long as you have it in a solid box it won't sound bad on rock either.

hese saying dont put it in a ebay prefab. you will need double baffle, and support in the box.
