If the AQs sound anything like DD subs, I couldnt ever see myself running them.

my AQ sounds pretty good if u ask me, i switched from an idmax 12 off 980 watts to a AQ hdc3 15 off roughly 1700 watts and the AQ sounds just as good to me, i listen to rap though!

yeah all i listen to is rap... i have a DD 3515 right now but its only running off of 1100 watts at 2 0hms. it still gets pretty loud. im going to put the AQ 2200D on it soon which puts it at 1600 at 2 0hms...anyway im guessing the BL's are a better choice??

I have a question...? Will an amp running 1200 watts RMS ( MTX TA 7801 ) do fine running 1 18" BL? I have already bought the BL and am about to order this amp.. ?

Yes, 1200w rms will do decent for a BL, if you can choose to buy a used amp with a tad more power, I would go that route.
