There really isnt a break in period or any thing,but u can loosen up the spyders a bit,I use to play 20hz with a lil power free air to loosen up my Hd3s,HD3s got louder by the day I loved it.

mine loosened up alot after the first 2 weeks.

They will definitely change. My MT's peaked at 49 Hz when new, and peaked at 38 Hz after two weeks of playing them hard.

yea, the BTL and MT both have a really stiff suspension. Kinda wish they didn't so they could keep up with DD 9500/9900's and Solo X's in street class.

FYI...bl's have a stiffer suspension than the BTL
