Fellow Canadians...

I'm trying to find some decent sealed deep cycle batteries in Canada... any fellow Canadians know where I can find some decent batteries for car audio use?

I've checked the Battery House in New Brunswick.. $640 for a Odyssey 2150 shipped to Alberta.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

I bought d34 blue top optimas from costco for around $170 each. I found some deka intimidators recently but am waiting on a price for the group 31s. You could maybe look into millionbuy for kinetics. I was going to order from there, but decided to pass.

Canadian dealers of Odyssey batts:

Also check batterymart.com. I remember a few canadian competitors claiming that they were one of the cheaper places to find them (although the Canadian/US exchange rate isn't as good these days). What that price is, I don't know.

A few people have said that Polar Battery in Vancouver sells the Hawker 2150 for reasonable. I remember Shawn (Jimmyslide on CCA) saying that a shop in Lethbridge sold Hawkers for a decent price, but can't find the post.

2150s can also be bought at Home Depot, according to their website. Not cheap though.

If you're looking for powermaster, call Dale at Custom Car and Sound in Cranbrook, BC. Great guy!

I know CCA sucks. Rick went ban-happy and it's never been the same. But I know alot of the competitors in western Canada, and very few seem to post even semi-regularly on CA. Not that you need to be a competitor to run 3kw, but it doesn't hurt to ask the people who do run lots of power in the same province.

If he's looking for places to buy good batteries in Alberta, A-Team/Clay, the Riprock twins, Corey, Kyle and that crew could be the best guys to point him in the right direction. Riprock still post on CCA, as does dbDon from S'toon. Dale from Custom Sound in Cranbrook posts on CCA, and he deals with Powermaster (closest dealer to the OP). I got my 2150s through Jimmyslide/Shawn, but he's out of the game and I can't remember where he ordered them from.
