No joke man, but i hope the silicone would do its job, i mean the crack isnt even visible...i just noticed because i was touching it when it was off and i felt a little rough part and i pushed and it was a 1" crack and i put it back in place and i played the sub and it stayed there, but now i just got home and put a dab of silicone wich will do the job, of it goes bad then recone time.

Originally posted by Raisedin305 OK people it does have a slight damage like Chinny said. He siliconed it up and it seems to have taken care of it. Just paypal it if your going to buy.

You two seemingly have a difficult time making up your collective mind (have I assumed correctly by the pattern of the responses posted by the two of you that you do, in fact, share a brain?) about the condition of a subwoofer. If it was simply a scratch and purely cosmetic then the application of silicone was unnecessary. A cosmetic defect, by its definition, will not affect mechanical performance in the least and requires no user correction to prevent operational damage to the equipment in question.
A crack or an actual physical defect on the other hand is quite another story altogether. For the purposes of this discussion I am defining physical defect as a flaw that does require user correction to prevent further operational damage. Yes, I have seen many a subwoofer with repairs made with silicone. Haven't we all? Yes, if not the majority then certainly many of those repaired subwoofers worked just fine afterwards. None of them, however, would I have ever termed as 'mint' from the moment the repair became necessary onwards. By your own admission the sub needed a dab of repair. From that moment forwards the sub you have could not be and should not be described as anything at or approaching "mint."

Everything in my car is rattling all of a sudden belive it or not, i lost my screw in the back door that holds the wiper and i cant put up with the anoying rattles, and about KD i imed him 3 times 1 week ago and he never answered neither of the 3 times, i was going to get him a new tweeter when i had the money but now im broke up the *** so now i guess i can really be called poor. Anyways, im no scammer man and YOU know that Milenko.
I was led to believe (*snicker*) that you were simply rolling in the dough? Something about the combination of many jobs worked and the hardcore saving of income on your part etc etc is why you were able to put down 5 figures on an '02 Blazer blah blah it wasn't anything to do with your parents blah blah...
How is it that you're suddenly destitute? Just curious. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
