i bought an RE 12" from the group buy but am thinking of upgrading to something bigger. it is dual 4 ohm, and 175w rms 250w max. i opened the box to look at the sub and that is it, never been played or handled really. still have receipt and plastic cover that goes above the sub and will ship in the box that RE sent it to me in. bought it for 79 shipped wanting to get 70 + shipping for it, give me some offers. will post pics later.

wondering, i have 1 12" L5 right now powered by a hifonics 600 rms amp, would this be an upgrade if i swapped the L5 with the re?

i think you would lose output but gain in sq

well, the re is only 175 watts rms and is also their lowest line subwoofer. not really sure what you'd gain by doing this.

well it can take 250-300 watts daily but unless he was really unsatisfied with the way his l5 sounded i think your right. but buy my sub anyway, have a nice backup if the l5 dies.

yeah i know the rms is a lot lower, was just wondering cuz i hear a lotta good things about re so thought it might be REALLY underrated. think i'll stick with my L5 though, still young and rather have spl over sq lol. bump for any one lookin for sq
