Looking to trade for a amp that does more power...great amp have never had a problem with it...i just need more power captain will trade or trade plus cash for a bigger amp looking for somethign that will do 2000-2500 watts at 1 ohm. i tihnk it does 1200 rms @ 4 ohms

1800@2 and 2000@1

750 RMS @ 4 ohm / 12.5 volt

1000 RMS @ 2 ohm / 12.5 volt

That's according to specs. They're highly underrated, you could see 1500 at 2 ohm / 14 volts, and the ones modified by ScottieJ can take 1/2 ohm DD.

Nikosbuddy: You just bought that thing a few weeks ago! You can't even get full power out of it without a HO alt. Are you *sure* you're just not at the limit of your charging system?

well i metered it and its holding 14 volts contantly....it never goes below unless it drops to 13.9 volts...

Straight from Scottie's words, it takes 170 amps to drive the thing at full tilt. I have the same amp, I my voltage won't drop below 14, period.

Yup...Mike...your electrical system WILL NOT support that thing to anywhere NEAR it's fullest potential @ 14v...period. Just to let you know!

Yeah, my alt does only 90 amps. Sure, I have ZERO dimming, but that doesn't mean I'm feeding my amp what it needs.

BTW: My stock alt has 14.5 volts at idle. My alt pwns. =)
