one coil reads 2.2ohms. and one reads 1.2ohms

I am jus wanting to see what I can get for it. I keep going back and forth on either selling it or using it. this thing is built like a tank and has been compared to DD's 95 series. I am really wanting something like an AA Ava 18" or XXX 18". Or cash.

is it normal for both VCs to have difference impedances or does that mean it needs a recone? curious because I have the 12" FX Q which is basicly the 12" of that if im not mistaken but and debating on another 12 to pair these for a single 15"

You could get it reconed to a 12" and have a pair...

bump for my old sub. it still plays. but it noticeably misses some notes. it does need a recone.

Indeed.

This "dual .7" ohm subwoofer is really a QUAD 1.4 ohm sub. Offset two coils 90degrees, and parallel them... to make a dual .7ohm subwoofer.
