Anyone know how many times they attempt delivery?

Im supposed to be receiving a package tomorrow, but will not be home nor can I get out of work. Normally this wouldnt be a problem and my sister would just sign for it but she got a job after I had purchased so I couldnt change the shipping address.

3 times, unless you call them to hold it. You can do so after the first attempt or possibly before depending on the fedex location.

Or just have them chuck it in your yard from their truck, they may just do that anyway.

Its a service, you can tell them you want something to be signed for when received, that way people can go "Well I never got it!" and try and scam you

As someone said above, just call them and tell them to hold it for you. You can go down and get it on your lunch break.

or what ive done is signed a sticky note and explained the situation, and everytime they have dropped off the package. may not work, but u may not trust ur neighbors either

yeah thats what i do. i write a note to day open then door and place it inside next to the door. then i sign my name. i can actually trust my fedex and ups delivery drivers here though so i dont know if it would mean getting something stolen for you. lol

yeah i especially do it with fedex because the closest one to me is over an hour away, and its very hard to get up there. id try the signature thing if you trust everything will go well. seems to be the easiest solution

With UPS they leave that little slip on your door saying when they'll return, if you flip it over it actually has a place for you to sign your name so that the next day they will just take that slip (with your signature) and leave your package at the door. Dunno if FedEx is the same but I've also done the whole, write them a note and sign it bit and they usually just take the note and leave my package.

Had a Sig required package come yesterday from FedEx. No one was home, and they just left it outside. Lucky I have no neighbors.
