Its not emo music per say, its real hiphop, alot of emo kids seem to like it though, the minneapolis concert I went to had atleast half the audience emo kids, the madison concert didnt have any tho. I'm not sure why they like it, slug constantly makes fun of them in his songs. He does put alot of emotion into his music, especially in his earlier albums like lucy ford and god loves ugly, namely "fvck you lucy" type stuff attracts them i'd assume. i think have the CD as a promo that i got from a friend...
is it the atmosphere CD (only on the promo version i'd assume) with the little voice that threatens to kill you if you distribute the promo and that its for execs and the press only ?

or is it a newer one?

i love swollen / dialated / atomsphere / apathy / j5 ... but they just don't hold the value that those other bands do for me.

not sure, I have some promo voice over my version just saying "pre-advance" or something like that every once in awhile. The name of the new album is "you cant imagine how much fun we're having".
