if u have a amp with the bass boost knob and u dont have the knob hooked up are u loosing the full power of the amp are does the amp automatically plat at full power w/o it plugged in

It is generally advised not to use the bass boost because it often introduces distortion. Yes, the amp will play at its potential if you set the gains properly and if you have the correct load on your amp
