False floors or walls

umm i'm using my false floor to raise my box and to get rid of having to use blocks under my box since i am in an extended cab truck with that hump in the back that i have to set my box on.. that is why i built the false. i don't see how that would help to keep your system from getting stolen... unless they ment like putting your amp under it

Dude, if you got jacked in Brandenburg then your **** is still in Brandenburg. Those backwards *** ***** there aren't that bright. Everyone knows everyone there who has a stereo worth a ****. They would probably try to steal mine if they could figure out wtf to do with it or how to get it out

Just buy an alarm next time.
lol i haven't had my stuff taken bro? op doesn't live in brandenburg does he?

You mean like this?

I have also seen subs mounted on the backside of the wood with full carpet over the front of the box/wall. -Looks like a flat carpeted, solid structure until the subs start moving air.

holy old fucking install.
It's the last false floor I did. *shrug* (mid 90's)

My most recent "stealth" amp rack was about a month ago...

The stock panel covers the hole and, of course, looks stock.

This approach can probably be used on a lot of different cars.
