//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif Are you trying to attach the faceplate someplace else? What are you trying to accomplish?

oops alright sorry let me explain my head unit is in a strange position in my car its like almost vertical and i cant see the faceplate screen unless i lean over while im driving (very dangerous by the way) and i want to move the facepate the headunit will stay in the same spot i just wantto be able to see the screen

Anyway, if you could find a connector like the one on your faceplate and make a custom cable once you figure out the pinouts... you may be able to do it. You would need a connector like the one on your headunit and also one like your headunit. Do you have a Fry's near you? They carry a lot of parts for electronics. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i think im just going to unsolder the connecter off the back of the fp and plug it into the hu and then just run the wires direct from the back of the plug to the back of the fp that way i can take it out if i need to

theres a radio shack near me
