face forward or upfireing

i wanna try subs up port back but im not sure about it ive been doing sub back port back

I dont have the kind of money to try all those kind of variations..I would try subs forward port back but id have to build another box and I dont have the money for tha right now..and I dont think subs up port forward would be a good idea either.

i got sub up port back, does not sound to bad. im going to try and face forward this time and seal off and see what happens.

see the problem here is that im putting in two 15's

and with the way the trunk arms close they take up alot of room! with the two 15"s id either have the subs upfiring or subs facing forward and port on the back of side

oh, and the trunk arms changes position as it closes, so its hard to calculate exactly.

this is how i did it on my last

then i made another box that looked the same with port forward

so whenever I get my new DC subs.they will be 15"s should I build my next box subs up port back for SPL or what? I dont really understand what difference it makes where the port or subs face..you would figure subs forward port forward would be loudest because its going all into the cabin of the car and not bouncing straight off the back of the trunk. explain.

i would like to do that, but i dont have the equipment to make 45degree cuts and i was thinking fiberglass but i dont have the money to do that right now
