I’m in the market for a 2k+ Half bridge amp. I know full bridge is the new thing but I love me a half bridge and honestly may wire low in the near future. Eyeing a Sundown SAE 2000 (China I know) but am also looking at an Ampere AA 2000 and an IA 15.1 (wish I could find used). SSA IC2200 also but it is scarce and since covid prices have jumped super high. Anything?

Yeah I’ve seen prices that were $469 jump to $599. It’s insane. Everything is super inflated right now. Just wish I had Facebook to buy used gear haha

Yes, their full bridge stuff wasn’t reliable. No idea on Colin. Just know he had a few issues in high school timeframe.

Have you even considered or looked at the new Sundown SIA line of amps. I just bought a SIA3500. They are supposed to have the SALT Korean boards and accept up to 9v of input IIRC. 3500 watts @ 1 ohm and 3,000 watts @ 2 ohms.

The 2 amps I’ve looked at the most are the SQ 2200 and IA 15.1. As much as I want the IA, the SQ price is winning right now ha

I liked it, but you have to keep it cool. I just wanted more power, so this one got boxed again.

Still exploring all options but I can get an Ampere Audio AA2000.1 new for $400. Same price as SQ but I suspect it might be a little bit beefier. Still would love the IA15.1 but need it to be under $500 for me to really consider.

I have a china amp that it does 2800 rms at 1ohm.it sounds really good.i think its a suoer cl5.it has nice board in it.i bought it and used it for 3 days and i bought a shark 4500.i bought it just to see if it was any count and it puts out really good power.
