F.Y.I. -this amp has had the power supply rebuilt the right way , by me..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.with all brand new date code matching parts. along with the needed parts to complete the rebuild (new resistors..etc) .. i also replaced a missing filter capacitor in the output section..
i beefed up the legs of the "fets" with extra solder to withstand vibrations a little better. and added epoxy to hold the filter capacitors and keep them from breaking off the board again.
the amp works great...it is powered up in the pics . just about everyday since i fixed it (3 weeks ago), i have hooked it up to my 2 12's in my room to flex its muscles ...it pounds my house...literally
this amp shares a very simular board design as a memphis 4kw...they share the same exact parts ..the powerbass just has fewer than the memphis..
im not sure why these amps don't go for more than they do, when you can buy a memphis 4kw for around 500-700 used.. the powerbass is only a 1000w less than a 4kw. its like your paying 200-400 bucks for just a extra 1000 watts....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif or your saving 200-400 for not buying a 4kw.
specs:
Output Power at 14.4V:
1 x 1000W @ 4 ohms (0.05% THD)
1 x 2000W @ 2 ohms
1 x 3000W @ 1 ohm

this amp comes with no warranty expressed or implied.. the amp will not be d.o.a. it has been tested for many hours, and the amp works as it should....i wouldnt sell it if i didnt think it was working right...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif
