well sorry for the accusation but i do have a power acoustik head unit nice unit untill i put the ipod cable on and then the internal amp grounded out not sure why

Sounds like you had a manufacturers' defect or a wiring issue in the iPod cable. This is exactly why we offer a 5 year warranty on the unit, in case anything ever happens during that time; free replacement.

cool well i fixed it when i took out the ipod cable so idk what the problem was but i got the headunit in a trade so i think i did pretty good
