I'm selling for a friend who recently was robbed at gunpoint at his apartment, seriously, no joke...robbed at gunpoint. His laptop, tv, and cell-phone were taken and he needs money so he can buy another laptop. This was his back-up computer, but he needs the laptop for school so he's selling this.

Bought new, you're looking at a tad above $400 for this setup if you build it up yourself from newegg. I just totaled it up, but feel free to verify. Newegg doesn't have the case or processor in stock, but I have this case and paid about $119 for it last year. The processor is going for about $70 on google checkout. He paid $440 before shipping for it according to his newegg invoice.

Also included is Windows XP SP2, but he will take it off if you want.

Nice setup. Processor goes for $53 at Ewiz, and $59 at Tiger, but is a great one. worth more imo. Was considering buying almost the same setup yesterday, but decided to dump the money into my car.

Love the black air duct or whatever that is going to the CPU. I guess thats what it is for....

Seems like a reasonable price. If I was still going to buy a computer, I would consider this.

That's not up to me. It's up to him.

I'm sure if he could still arrive at $300 for the set, then he'd part though.

I don't have time to do all that math, but since he paid $440 for everything and wants $300 for it: 300/440= 68%. So, take 68% of what the parts go for on newegg and you probably have a deal.

How bout we split it down the middle?

$150 shipped for the mobo/cpu & ram.

$160 for the rest (the case is more expensive to ship)?

I priced a new AMD X2 3600+, MSI mobo and 2gb Corsair ram on Newegg yesterday for right at $195 shipped.

I would only do $125 shipped for this cpu/mobo/ram combo since it has 1gb less memory. I have the money ready to go so pm me by tommorrow afternoon if he is interested, thanks
