Sold F/S Dell Inspiron 8200 laptop

I got a new laptop for my birthday so this is for sale. I used it mainly as a desktop with the ability to take it to class once in awhile. it has 2 minor problems: one is the battery is dead in it, and it needs a new one which goes for around $40-50 on ebay. the other is that it needs a new backlight bulb for it. when hooked up to an external monitor it works flawlessly but when it isnt, it doesnt light up sometimes. i was told backlight bulbs are cheap (roughly $20) but require a small amount of soldering to replace it which is something i cannot do. besides that, the unit works flawlessly. the specs are as follows:

Pentium 4, 1.6ghz, 15" UXGA display

256MB ram (2 dimm)

32 MB DDR 4XAGP NVIDIA GeForce2 Go 3D Video for inspiron 8200

40 Gig HD- it came with a 30 gig HD but 3 months ago i put in a brand NEW 40 gig HD for it. works perfectly.

floppy drive

8X cd-rw burner/ DVD PLAYER.

It also comes with a wireless internet card which works perfectly also.

moreover, i have all original documentation and software with it along with a portable Surge protector for it.
