I plugged this up to my parent's tv last August to show them pictures.. .zzzz, pop, and the screen was out. I called local shops and they said it would probably be a mother board replacement. I didn't bother to fix it, just bought a new laptop.
The computer turns on but there is no display. I wound up removing the HDD to get some info from it and now it's my portable hard drive. Still works to this day.
Physically, the laptop is in good shape. 8/10. It's been sitting around my closet for MONTHS and I need to get rid of it. The HDD stays with me unless you really want it. I'm hoping someone here knows how to fix this kind of stuff and can get some use out of it. Make an offer. Just account for $15 for shipping. Please, make them reasonable. I know that these laptops in a DOA condition have gone on Dell for $100+ in the past but haven't bothered to look lately. I might have the original recovery disc. I'd have to dig around for that. Comes with AC wall adapter.
