really? i just got an eclipse amp for them. the one in my sig. havent hooked it up yet. maybe ill like them more when amplified and not sell/trade them. although when i get the money i am switching to a 3-way eclipse comp set.

Yeah man... with that amp you ahve 130x2 at 4 ohms... thats ennough power... and a good amp as well.

well in my setup I have them on Hp and crossed over to 200hz, I dont want them getting any bass at all because I have my L7 that I like to wang really hard and I dont want to damage the mids of the cdts, but when I didnt have the L7.. I turned the amp crossover off, and ran them at about 80hz and deadened my doors and they were definately worth the $100 I spent on them. Right now im giving them 120 rms and im definately satisfied. You can definately find speakers better than them, but for the price they are WELL worth it.

yea 130 is perfect for these. and im doing the same. purely highs. no midbass... the eclipse subs im gettin will do that for me.... i cant wait! tuesday!

yeah dude try these out before you sell em, and see if you like them... I sure as hell did. They were right in my price range and highly recommended for it. The only thing I can say for it first hand... is if you like it REALLY loud your going to have to configure the EQ in the head unit because the tweeter can get harsh on the highs sometimes. but other than that they are very nice

yea once i get the amp nicely tuned ill use the EQ in the HU. thanks for the advice. whats your cross over on? the switch under the grill. mine came set at +3 and havent touched it since.

Yeah mine as well... I didnt bother to touch it... sounds like you have a good amp. as soon as I get some more $$ Im going to ditch the CDT 6x's in the rear and either get a better comp set for the front and more the cdts to the rear, and power them on my 120x4, or im going to keep the cdts in the front and get a mid end, lower end comp set in the rear. Eventho most people on here say screw the rear and focus on the front, im more of an overall kind of guy esp with other people in the car
