Yea the guy sent them to me 2 days ago and none of this stuff was in his pictures and he re-assured me that there was nothing cosmetically wrong

yea it works just fine. I hooked it up to my 2 JL 500/1 and burped it. It still was loud and smooth

Didnt seem to have any air leak and I couldnt tell a difference in sound. Like I said none of the damage is thru, just scrapes

I didn't see a crack in the basket, what I think you are looking at is where the trim ring comes together, these is a gap about 1/4 inch big, that much is normal.
