F.c.b.c. Finals(sound comp) yesterday

so i took the 450sd title yesterday at finals. however i lost 3 or 4 db over from the last time i competed. so that kinda *****. i only had my amp set to 1/4 of gain when i ran. so i was

p1ssed and went turned my amp gain up to 3/4(i was trying to blow it lol).and then a friend of mine who competes meca had a oscope & TL, with him and we did some amp checks and TL'd my truck.

even as high as my gain is set my sigla is "crystal" clear & i set it by ear lol. BUT, how ever i did my 1st 50. 152db to be exact. it was in the port but hey i can say i did it lmao.

Something was wrong. No amp can have its gain up all the way and not clip unless you were sending it about a .01v signal out of your head unit. Next, 152 in the port doesn't count. those are previous scores. with amp i lost alil bit. but after i reset the gain and did the oscope & tested i did a 144db. had a sundown before amp before tho

its not all the way up. its 3/4 of the way . and i said in the port lol. and i should by next season

yea it was fun chilling with yal to. and improved my score via lucas's TL. i got mad and jacked my gain trying to over heat amp and blew it lmao. na i didnt get to

It is but you have to know how to interpret car audio lingo. "I was trying to blow my amp" = "I wanted a better score and I don't want to look foolish for cranking my gain"
