I was worried at first swapping out my DD's (they sounded amazing for being 600 series redlines), but my fears were put to rest today when I finally was testing (read as: playing around with them) my new SA's (break in period so I do not put them on full tilt) they got really loud on this scv amp and didn't even give off a smell at half bass knob. Can't wait for their break in period to be done so I can go full HAM on them.

That's great to hear! Depending on how you set your gains you may need to be careful using the bass knob too much. Just a heads up since burnt out equipment is no fun. Yeah, I am not going to burn these up. I don't go above halfway on the knob itself and the gains on the amp are not set that high either. Taking the break in slow and careful. The Sundown dealer here said don't be too afraid but if you smell something back off of it.

Almost 14 cubes gross. 48" wide, 26.5" deep. and 22" tall. I cry when I have to take it out for family trips.....weighs a ton.

If the box is too big it can bottom out (never tested this, but it is what I have always heard).

I doubt it. There is no reason to put 2 15s in that small a box unless they are specifically designed for it.

At the least id do 7.75. Most 8.5.

This is after nearly 20 years of building enclosures and designing systems as well as about 5 years of personally building prototype subwoofers.

My current woofer is in 4.35 tuned to 36 with a 3600.

Nearly ever 15 ive used 4 cubes was about ideal.

Shipping is very expensive brother. Wish I could give you a great price but for dual 15s your looking at 500+ bucks.

Shipping rapes. If you can get shipping for cheap ill be glad to build you a ****** box..
