[QUOTE="rusium, post: 213178, member: 547700"] 1. Where are the extra wires coming from? 2. What kind of car do you have? 3. What kind of HU did you get and do you have the installation manual? 4. Do you have the proper factory wiring harnesses for your vehicle? 5. Why do you think it has anything to do with your alarm. 1. The extra wires are coming form the car inside the dash, though, I cant tell exactly what they lead to. 2. 1995 Honda Civic DX 3. I dont know what kind of HU I have... 4. Yes, however I get no sound from the reciever yet I get display and functionality from it. Which leads me to believe these two wires have some meaning... 5. When I removed the old reciever those two wires were somehow attached to the receiver but in a strange way, and I had to cut them to take it out. Since that day the alarm and the keyless entry haven't worked. I'm really just baffled by all of this, I don't really know all that much about car stereos and alarm systems so if anyone knows how this can be fixed or has any idea what is going on I would really appreciate it.
