LOL u stole what I was gonna say, get a dog and a gun. My dog has literally saved my place from getting broken into from barking and I keep a shotgun with me in my room. Works like a charm.

camera's don't do much, do nothing to prevent it. you just get to watch as a guy with a ski mask or whatever take your stuff. lol thats what happens most of the time anyway.

I doubt there is much more than can be done except adding a security system to the house which is dumb because we lease only for a few more months.

You can get a wireless security alarm system that you can take with you. There is even simple door/window/motion piezo alarms that are effective.

Camera's can deter & prevent it sometimes. At least you can get some description even if a mask is used & use to further prove the case.

OP, hope you are able to get the stuff back. things happen and it aint your fault. it could've happen to anyone. you may have never know if they were packing heat and if they would had seen you, they would had shot you (knock on wood that it doesnt happen). but buy a gun and shoot the mutherfukker that tries to break in to your place again.
