Excited about RE!!!!!

I just talked to a sales rep at RE. He told me I can get one HC delivered to me for $280. He said that as far as loudness, I would happier with two SEs which would be $349 shipped. What should I do? Those prices are wonderful compared to what I've seen some of these other subs priced. I only have 740wtts RMS to feed to whatever I get but as long as I can get a clean sound I'm happy. What should I do? 1 HC or 2 SEs. I would take $100 off because I got a friend to buy that **** FUBR. HOLLA AT ME!

the two SE's would almost definatly be louder, since you would have twice the cone area. But beyond that you would be happy with either one, it depends on hoe much you are willing to spend.

There isn't much difference in price so I would go either way. However 740wtts rms is my concern. I would go 2 cuft ported at 35HZ for the HC but would probably use a sealed box for the SEs. Which would pound alot louder. SPL that is.

well it would be close in that case... because you would either have 1 sub in a ported enclosure or 2 subs in a sealed box. I think that they would be pretty close to the same thing either way...

I'd probably go with the one ported, but I'm afraid I'd be starving the HC. 740 wtts RMS should keep it happy right? I'm excited but I want this sub to last. I have a habit of buying bigger amps and blowing subs. Its fun but expensive. Hopefully the HC will sound good with the 740wtts. If not I will probably get a Directed 1100d.

I'd say about 6 cuft on up. Tuning would depend. I will have a daily driver for my HC so I would tune it between 33 and 36 HZ.

Well shipped to my Zip Code it can to $280, however I guess the closer you are to RE Inc., the cheaper the shipping.. The price I was quoted was $249.

8.4cu.ft. tuned to...dam, I forget...big SPL box anyways...might have been 37hz, cant remember.
