Excelon Comps?

Jmac is right. Why over spend your money when you can buy seperate amps and use the left over money for sound deadening or kick panels. Kick panels would be good and trust me, after you put some Dynamat or Brown Bread or whatever in you will never want to take it out.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

with those eXcelon amps, i noticed that it has battery voltage along side the RMS ratings (i only recently had that explained to me)... the KAC-X520 says 90RMS at 12V and 125RMS at 14V (this is basically the difference in volts when the car is on and off, right?!). Aparently, i'm a wus when it comes to worrying about blowing my speakers, or maybe i just don't fully understand how much wattage is truly "dangerous" for speakers. You said that the Kenwood eXcelon dual mag, 6.5" components are 90RMS... am i going to be able to use the X520 and not have to worry about ruining the speakers quickly?

i used to have a Kenwood eXcelon KAC-X201t...it was a great amp...built in fan and everything. Too bad i was running it to those crappy Kenwood tornado subs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
