The subs were built to take some power given the physical limits of the motor itself and so on. They were built with the same spider pack and coil as a LVL5 less one spider.. They make awesome daily subs and as Howie can attest take the power they are rated for. I usually rate them for 1500wrms but obviously they can take more if the end user desire to push them harder. I wouldnt push them much past 2000w or so although there are a few guys running this spider and coil setup with this motor running higher.
