Everything check out?

I just ordered a DB drive pd200.1 off of Audiosavings, and it will be powering 2 sundown SA-12's at 1 ohm, in a fourth order designed by Buck.

To support the amp I have an 80 ah Deka and 2 33 ah no-name batteries I got off ebay (I got them tested and they are nothing special but they are ok) along with an 800 CCA Optima Redtop under the hood. My car has a 120 amp alt from the factory and all my wiring will be 1/0 CCA (XS power and Knukonceptz).

My front stage is a pair of Image Dynamics CX64 v2 mid-range/ mid-bass drivers matched with a pair of Hertz HT 25 tweeters. They are off an Aura rpm 2300 2-channel amp. Right now the are passively crossed over using a pair of Swiss audio cross overs. I plan to get another amp for my tweeters and run active. The crossovers cut out if more than 100 watts are run through them. I feel as though the cross overs are the weakest part of my front stage.

This will be put in a 2001 Chrysler Sebring. I took the rear seats out to back room for the fourth order. Also I have 25 ft of Audio Technix deadener in the trunk and on the doors, and I plan to put more in especially on the roof.

So does everything look ok? does any one have any helpful suggestions? thoughts, opinions?

you know it's an easy mod to stop that whole cutting out at a certain power level issue! I had the same deal went ahead and modded my Q series Mb quart x-overs and now they will do what I need them to do and I have had no issues since and that was a year ago.

please tell me how.
Ok when you open the x-over look on the board for a ceramic disk it will be tan/thin/round with two legs soldered to the board, you will need to un-solder this and replace it with a solid piece of wire, after that I attenuate the tweeters to -6db on the x-over to make sure they don't see full power.

I'll try that out man thanks. I want to run active eventually anyway though.
yea I would like to go ahead and bi-amp mine too but I have slam ran out of room for anymore amps and the time I tried it off the HU it sounded like crap, even after you run a separate amp for your tweets i don't know about you but mine would cut when I felt they had plenty left to give and I haven't cooked them yet without the help of the protection circuit.

for comparison on electrical i run a redtop up front. stock 105a alt and an hc2000 in the rear for battery power on the db drive pd amp. holds good.

and if you ever want to sell yours pm me.

So my electrical should be sufficient then?

I'm not gonna sell for a long time man. It hasn't even been delivered yet. I will keep you in mind though if I ever do want to sell.
