Everyone check out this ebay store - VERY Cheap tools

i actually got a sander for like 6$ on sale at harbor freight, used it many times on different stuff, works fine

i just have a hard time seeing how the guys in the shop can get a set of 10 screwdrivers from the snap-on man and pay 150$, lifetime warranty isnt worth that much money

Amen to that. Or a tool box thats like a down payment on a house. Most snap on guys dont even sell snapon tools really. And the truth most of the tools sold by snapon are made by other companies that sell them to all tool places like mac macto craftsmen and snapon. Shoot you can even find snapon tools for way cheap on ebay and then turn them into the snapon guy if they ever break.

same junk they sell at Harbor Freight - buy it once use it once...but he has a few hidden gems in there
Whats wrong with harbor feight stuff. I have cutoff wheel air tools , Air hammer gun, And a angle die grinder air tool. Still going good for over 9 years now. Just like my steering wheel pulley kit, The power steering pulley puller kit. ball joint serive kit, Fuel pressure kit, Vacum gauge kit. I have a bunch more. All in very good working order now and willl last a good long time.

The ball joint kit Im very impressed with. I have done many many jobs with it. Way cheaper then buying a snapon kit.

paid 5k and traded my old toolbox for a snap-on from the snap-on guy and haven't looked back. you can't argue against their quality, just the price. but you get what you paid for
Yes you are getting what you paid for the Name and thats about it. Their sockets are not even made in the US anymore. I had a snapon socket 10 mm. It snapped I had it for 10 years, Got a replacement that snapped within two weeks. Their quality is not what it used to be. And plus they over price there stuff ten times then what other companies do. Shoot I can find you kits the other ones sell them same kit. Same case same everything but snapon would be like a 100 dallors more. Two exsamples. I wanted a chassis ear kit. Asked the snapon guy how much. He said over 400, I went with some one else got it for under 200. Same as my power probe kit. Another one. Thread chaser kit. Same kit that all those guys make. Snapon was 200. Craftsmen sold it for under 60 bucks. Its the same case. Same kit. Same everything. Even down to the red sleeves to use over the hand chaser.

My heat gun I got there started on fire the first time I turned it on //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
Sucks for you. Nothin I have brought from there has failed me at all. And I do have alot that I have gotten from that place. Going to get a oil drain tank soon too and the side cab for my tool box as well.
