Error message - Pioner AVH-P7500DVD

I have a Pioneer AVH-P7500DVD in my car. It's about 8-9 months old. Recently I have been experiencing problems trying to play DVD's. When I put in a DVD, the screen says "FORMAT READ" for about 45 seconds, then goes to a blue screen with the message "error-02-99". It still plays CD's no problem, and the TV/XM work on it. I tried resetting the unit a couple times, but had no luck. Anyone see this before? Any suggestions?

Thanks...

It might just be a dirty lens. I have seen lens cleaning devices specifically for mobile dvd players. I'm not sure if theres a difference in the cd and the dvd cleaner though.

Is it a burned dvd or a normal dvd? any scratches? my 7500dvd is very picky about the type of discs and the condition they are in. Other than that try a lens cleaning disc like he said. I had this problem before, but it would play any cds or dvds and turned out the lens was out of alignment. but if yours is playing cds thats not the case.

These are regular, store bought DVD's. Some are in better condition than others, but none of them seem to be in what I would call "bad" shape. So, there is a different lens cleaner for DVD'S? I'll try that. With all the pollen in the air around here I'm suprised that the possiblilty if it being dirty didn't occur to me already. I appreciate the suggestions.
