equalizer and cross overs

Before i finish my install i was wondering if i should add an external crossover and EQ are they the extra money and do they make that big of a difference i was thinking about this here. i did a search and didnt find a straight answer.

If the system is what is in your sig; It would be a waste of money. For one it appears you are not using an amplifier to power your speakers; so you would be purchasing 30 bands of equalization and only able to use 2-3 of those. Second; you would be much better off using the money to upgrade speakers and externally amplifying them.

Third I hope you did more to your electrical system than simply add a 1F cap....but that's off topic from your original question.....
