Wouldn't that just be like interning?

I wouldn't consider someone an engineer until they received a degree.

That is one thing I never understood. What is the point in hiring people who are freshmen or sophmore level in engineering. It is not they really can help and do something really complex.

I knew someone my last year that got an internship at Haliburton but couldn't even get past Calculus II and ended up changing majors.
