Well, I thought all was well. Install completed about 2 weeks ago, everything sounded good. Yesterday took the boat out fishing and for some reason now I have some nasty engine noise. But, when I turn left the noise goes away. Thinking I hit a bump and nocked something loose. I checked all the wires and everything looks and feels good. With the engine running I wigggled all the wires. THe culprit is the HU. I rewired it and turned it on with the engine running anf reved it up and all sounded great. Put it in the dash and inserted the dash bezel and the sound came back. It may be the metal frame the HU sits in or something. ANyone have any suggestions? I did a search and found nothing simular to this..Only thing I can think of is another ground for the HU. Its wired into the factory connectors ground. Thanks for the help.....
