I currently have a set of CDT CL-62CF comps on 200rms a side. However gonna need louder speakers. Dont get me wrong these get loud but need louder:D.

I was looking into some PA speakers like selenium or eminence maybe B&C but kinda pricey. Maybe even whip audio:confused:

Just wondering out of selenium and eminence which will get louder and sound somewhat decent? and what xover points would be best for these mids?

You can do it man. If I can do it in a '92 Toyota 1/2 ton, anyone can do it. It's definitely worth it.

would rather run 2 6.5" mids in each door and a 6.5" mid per kick or something like that. I dont want to put huge mids in the doors want to keep it looking factory as possible

Make it look fagtory.

based on the spec sheets, the eminence would be louder. It wont play as low as the 6w4p. The 8w4p would be a good choice as well. It would be louder than both too. The first two shouldnt play anything higher than 4khz, the 8w4p no more than 3khz.

want something for mainly mids and highs dont care bout midbass

what kind of xover can i run or should i get a external EQ?

If i want midbass i might go with CDT M6+ drivers one in each door and be set:) idk if i want to get 2 more sets of cdt cl-62cf's so 3 sets total and run 400rms to each set so 1200rms total 600rms per side would cost another 350 bucks or so, or get PA drivers

The speakers above are pa drivers. the 8wp should take 600wrms (set of 2). Only problem is they are 8ohm drivers.

the selenium and eminence 6" are 100rms so i figure give them each 100-125rms and then the tweeters i got to make a decesion on either run normal small dome tweets or go with the st350's i think they are? but they are fukkking huge

4th Order Linkwitz-RileyIf you want to go active get a 24db/oct slope active crossover.
Ooooooh. Mr Fancy Pants. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Just do some B&C 6s/8s with the B&C horn tweeters. Its a little more money, but worth it. Something like 4 6s, and 2 tweeters in each front door, and 2 6s and 1 tweeter in each back door and that would be NASTY loud and sound so clean. I really wanna try those B&C tweeters.

But if youre looking for that NASTY low vocals that you can feel in your chest youre going to need 10" or 12" mids. The 2 Delta 10s I have in my van right now literally rattle my van with vocals.
