You dont think hes going to stop at 140lbs do you?, its gonna get nasty after that. See if you can talk to him about that. Ive seen it happen too many times, he needs to get that weight up if hes going to last. If the docs said hes got 12 months, well those 12 months are going to be sheer hell for him.

With the chemo making him nauseous, its hard for him to keep food down. How else could he lose 80lbs in less then 2 months? If he can keep the nausea in check, and eat he'll be last a lot longer then 12 months and be in less pain then hes in now.

My aunt more or less has the same thing, but i doubt she will last that long. (2 to 3 months) She is also allergic to all the antibiotics, which they generally load you up with around kemo time because many times the drugs kill indiscriminately.

Girlfriends dad has Hep. Will probably die in a year or two.

Both are great people. Thats life.
