<-- Yes, that's me.
So I have two older woofers, with a foam surround.. The foam surround has become weak, and started to fall apart. Needs replaced. The rest of the parts of the woofers are perfectly fine.
Bear in mind these are HT based woofers. I need to replace the surround, and am looking for ways and materials to do this. I don't know whether it would matter to have a different material as long as it is flexible, airtight, and of the same, or more width. I thought of a latex tubing, cut to form the surround. It was the only material I could see that's easily obtainable, flexible, and that can form into the semi-circle.
Thoughts?
