Ok so I've seen car pc's and I was thinking, could I use an eeepc to do that? Like have a arm mount and use that. I could have Internet on it

The eepx is half that cost. Basically it's either a double din7 inch headunit, or for around the same price an eepc. Is there any cons to an eepc?

The only downside to the eepc is size. At least you can get one of those arms similar to what you see in police cruisers to mount your netbook on. I just like the idea of a mini tablet PC much better since it is touch screen, has GPS, and you can get internet with it too. Granted, you can do all these things with the eepc too except for out of the box touchscreen operation.

how exactly are you going to get internet while driving unless you have mobile wireless?

get an eee and use the vga out to a touchscreen

how hard would it be to set up the eeepc to speakers, control volume and such, and all that kind of stuff?

I assumed you were going to use the eepc with an existing HU and an aux in. Life really gets tricky when you want volume control, crossover capabilities, and all that other fun stuff.
