I just got some eDead from elemental designs and put one layer on my doors. I just got 10 sq ft to try it out and will get a bigger roll if i like it for a a second layer and my trunk. my question is for you who have used it. dose it stick very well? its very easy to peel and sitck not to mention how easy it is to work with, but will it stick with the heat from the car later on? major diff with the deadner on //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

eDead is not like dynamat which requires to be heated up befor it is put on. edad is like a sticker you put on your doors? i was just wondering if it will get even more stuck to the doors when the sun hits the doors and makes a better bond.

If anything, asphalt-based deadeners need to be heated more than butyl rubber ones do, to ensure a solid bond and make it easier to apply...

The sun heating it up doesn't "make a better bond" if it exceeds the melting temperature...

V1SE is butyl not asphault...

Edit:

Actually V1SE asphault. V1SE2 is all butyl. I'm assuming you got V1SE2. Also, from what I've found, V1SE2 will withstand up to 250 degree temps.

the edead stuck on my door pretty good with no heating what so ever, it says so on the website that you dont need to heat it up.
