Ed sale.

mind telling the uninformed why? I for one have never heard any rumors abotu eD until now.
Not bringing up the amps, or the fact that he slanders the original versions of his rebadeD woofers, or the many woofers he sells that dont work and he tries to not follow through with warranty... Yeah I geuss eD hasnt screwed anyone out of their money.

Hey all. Sorry if I stirred up a hornets nest. I really was just trying to send out a good price that I saw. Are these going to be decent subs? I'm running 2 11oV2's and have had good luck with them. Also, I have a nine.1 and its been great too. I did push in the rca's and break the board, but they fixed it for me pretty quickly.

So I guess i have had no problems. I'm just wondering how 4 slim 10's running 1200 watts would sound? Not to mention I could use such a small box.

Any other slims around this price that fit in such a small box that I could use?

Sounds like eD and TangBand both purchased the same drivers from a builder. eD knows Partsexpress will move more tangbands then eD can sell their subs- so they drop the price and claim TangBand is shady.
Note that Tangband IS the builder. Their new factory in Ningbo is quite impressive, they injection mold and hot-press their own plastics, even blend their own polypropylenes and glues. Tangband actually builds the products, and buys very few parts outside their company (they make most of their own parts, especially the soft and moving parts like spiders, surrounds, cones, etc).

Hey, if you've been happy with them so far, then no reason not to buy from them...
As far as running 4 SQ10s goes, displacement will be similar to a pair of 11Ov2's, but at a much lower price. Low-end extension from the 11Ov2's will be a little better though. IMO, the only reason to go with 4 SQ10's instead of a pair of 11Ov2's is mounting depth... otherwise I'd pick the Ov2's.

Well, at least now you know a little bit of why they were snickering at the mention of eD...

If you're looking to do something a bit different/save trunk space, yeah, it'll be better than the pair of 11Ov.2's.

I'd have to agree on the assessment that if you're happy w/ the pair of 11Ov.2's, you don't need to get 4 SQ10's.

As for the SQ10, the project was started in July 2005. We had a prototype into a customers hands last year. Then it started appearing in the possession of other companies show cars who we have a good relationship with.

At that point it was completely retooled.

Of course, it was delayed a bit as we had originally wanted the SQ10 on the market last March/April in time for summer and the peak install season, but I believe it's worth it to end up with a better product at a better price point.

Do you really want to buy from a company who's cronies wont even let people who post facts in a senseble way after they have been slandering a good company for 3 pages on their forum?
