eD-A compared to iDMAX

I am stuck in a situation where i don't know whether to get one 12 ed-a or buy a brand new 12 idmax v.3 off my friend at a reasonable price. Majority of people at soundillusions.net recommended the eD's which is not suprising since it is an eD forum. I just want to hear you guyz take on the both of these....

You would be happy with either driver...

Do you have an amp right now? How much room are you looking to give up for a box?

I plan to use either a

1)jbl 600.1

2)jbl 1200.1

3)phoenix gold qx900.1

i plan to gave it a sealed box, perhaps 1.3-1.5 cubic..

IMO, the ed a-series feels more like home in that box size. i like my idmax in at least a 2.0 cube box. then again, thats me and i'm a big fan of low-end response //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
