Can my 12v 80 amp alternator handle a 1 ohm load?

That's my main concern...

And seriously, what box should I put it in?? 2.2 cubes @ 32hz?

have you done the big 3 upgrade? the apsm1500 requires a 100a fuse, so that is already above your alt's output. somebody on here knows more about this than i do, but that is one question you will be asked.

I'm thinking of wiring it to 1 ohm, and turn the gain down a lot!

You will spend a lot of time jumping your car. I wouldn't want to run anything over 500 watts with an alternator that small.

I'm ready running like 750 too It and it goes just fine....

Many people said that I'd be just fine wiring down to 1 ohms, just got to watch the knob and gains...
