Hi! I'm new to this forum. I am in the process of designing my sub enclosure and purchasing my sub. During my research into the subject I ran across this forum I was thinking of a single ED 10" O or 10"A series sub. I have talked to the tech rep at ED and he has recommended a .50 sealed box for my application. Of course with such a small enclosure you have to have the power to drive it. I have a Memphis ST1000D (600w @2ohm, 1100w @ 1ohm) He said this would be a very good mate for either of the subs. I have not yet decided which way to go. I want to keep to the single sub system for now. If I change my mind and want to add a second the O series would allow that upgrade with the same amp. However to A's would not work with this amp. Anyway my point here was just to introduce myself and pass that bit from the rep at ED on to namster44 granted his recommendation was based on the tight space I was working with but he did say the 10 O and I would be very happy with a .50 box
