just a quick question..

is there much difference between the Eclipse 88120 DVC subs..and the Eclipse 88120TI subs.. i haven't heard either of them.. but there is a 250 dollar difference .. so i was wondering if there is a spectacular difference ..they sure are pretty..

what amps would you run to one of these subs? or a pair..?

They are nice but to pricey for me and they don't have a 2 ohm dvc model so i can't get a full 1000 rms out of my amp or i would go for an aluminum 12 dvc.I find the titaniums are ugly but they are one of the top dogs of subs as some people say they are pretty good high end sub.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

yes there is the Eclipse 88120 dvc subs are black ank a cardboard like cone but the eclipse 88120ti subs have a aluiminum cone and i have never seen one be blown.

The aluminum series comes in 4 ohms or dvc dual 4 ohm.The titanium comes in just dvc dual 4 ohm.The aluminum handles 500w rms and the ti handles 750w rms,the diff is the ti is a higher end sub.:p

The Eclipse Ti subs are some of the best subs out on the market right now in my opinion. I am looking to getting a par of these sometime in the near future. Does any one know how deep they are?

The eclipse 88120ti do not have an aluminum cone, the 'ti' in the model number stands for titanium, making these the titanium cones...

Eclipse subwoofer models and cone material

8600's-polypropelyne

8700's-pearl mica infused polypropelyne

8800's-aluminium

8800TI-titanium

This should clear things up a bit.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

In order to answer your question, I would need to know what model (e.g. SW4200, SW7524DVC). Also, are you looking to make a ported box or sealed?
