one more question i forgot to ask, my first instinct is to run it parallel for a 1.5 ohm load, should i run it in series for a 6ohm load (its dual 3.1ohm)

Depends if your amp is 2 ohm mono stable. If so, run the coils in parallel.

Yeah running it sealed would be beastly, you can always go ported later. It's an amazing driver no doubt

its the kicker 1200.1 stable to 1 ohm, just didnt know if i would blow it, im not sure of what the power handling is on this sub, its not in the book or manual

You'll be fine, just be smart with the gain and listen for warning signs. You sub will warn you if it is being overdriven.
