Eclipse SW8010

I was looking in to buying an Eclipse SW8010 sub for my truck. I was wondering how good of a company Eclipse was, and if anyone has experience with their products. Also, I was going to power it with a 750w RMS hitron amp. Its fine if I feed it 50w RMS more than it asks for right?
