Put a voice coil on a multi-meter and test the resistance..divide by 2 and you will know what it comes out to at a 2 ohm load..or wire them in parallel and measure it..If it is a dual 6 ohm VC then ya it will be 3 ohms.

Wingmans here with eclipse ohms! I have a set of them and they are 4 ohms nominal! But wait there's more! Subs are a reactive load so if you run the subs at difference frequencies you may end up with 3 ohms or even 6 ohms! It is called impedance rise! Holy ****!

^^^Hey wtf I just tried to cap lock everything and it got changed to non-cap.

In order to answer your question, I would need to know what model (e.g. SW4200, SW7524DVC). Also, are you looking to make a ported box or sealed?
