Eclipse HU's

Ok, so I was all set on getting an 880 Premier when I could get the money together, but I came across this Eclipse deck on woofers etc. I know a lot of people on here really like the Eclipse 7000, but what do you guys think of the 8445? I was just wondering how it would compare to the 880, or the 960 that I have now. The main features I'm after are sound quality. Thanks.

The Eclipse 7000 isn't going to sound much better than the 880 and it sure wouldn't be worth the higher price tag.

i really liked the way my 8445 sounded. You can find it for a lot cheaper than that on ebay though

I think the SQ u would get from both will be about the same, the 8445 was a really good SQ unit if I remember right. I am currently using the CD7000 and I have to say I love it. I was giong to get a Pioneer HU but I got this one for a good deal. Either way u go I think u will be very satisfied with ur choice. I got the CD7000 because of the SQ and Ipod features, the ipod control works great on it. I have yet to try the GPS but hopefully I can get it soon.
